"Members Club" delivers a wild ride, blending humor, horror, and a touch of heart in a way that's perfect for a Saturday night at FrightFest. The film embraces absurdity, with standout performances from Dean Kilbey as Alan, who grounds the chaos with a relatable character, and Perry Benson, who brings hilarity to the screen. The film doesn't shy away from the ridiculous, with scenes featuring a cheese-and-pineapple hedgehog, played by Alan Ford, and occult plotlines that are as bizarre as they are entertaining. I watched this at FrightFest as the late night Saturday film, the audience reaction was electric, making the screening feel like a party where everyone was in on the joke. While it may not be award-winning cinema, "Members Club" is a fun, unforgettable ride. This film will be popular with people who like Shaun of the Dead (2004), Tucker and Dale vs. Evil (2010), The Full Monty (1997), and What We Do in the Shadows (2014), for their mix of horror, humor, and heartwarming character dynamics.

Members Club does enough good that these missteps do not take away from the overall enjoyment. Filled with toilet humor, disgusting sight gags, and gross out moments it is all the best parts of the spooky season.

Despite being more comedy than horror and maybe not appealing to a wide audience in its humorous sensibilities, Members Club is a surprisingly amusing ride, perfect for those suffering from slowburn trauma horror fatigue.
Cinema Crazed

Members Club is a hilarious horror comedy with that special British brand of humor that some will adore, and others will hate. It's fun, it's well acted, well shot...

Though 'Members Club' has to be commended for taking an out-there idea and adopting a balls to the wall approach, enjoyment of this film will likely depend on individuals own sense of humour, as the script caters for a very specific audience.

This is the kind of film that could easily be a disaster, but despite obvious budgetary limitations it acquits itself well.
