Melancholia Ratings & Reviews
- StairwaytothestarsSeptember 13, 2025This is a slow psychological drama with beautiful cinematography and impeccable acting as another planet is hurling towards Earth. MELANCHOLIA takes its time to arrive, but when it does, it threatens a collision with depression and causes quite an impact. If you are unfamiliar with the director Lars von Trier, then you will not appreciate its unique parallel of hopelessness and doom. If you want action, then watch Mission Impossible number 18 the endless saga!
- tnt.psdJuly 10, 2025Ok. I was only interested in one scene—and knowing me, whoever is reading this will know what scene that was. I’m gonna go watch the How to Train Your Dragon live-action remake in theaters. Then, after that, I’m gonna watch Antichrist and play Death Stranding. That’s a good Tuesday for me—a really good one. And then we’re all gonna start 𝓖𝓸𝓸𝓷𝓲𝓷𝓰. I couldn’t take Claire seriously because I’ve seen nymphomaniac. Great opening though.

- Lasse ViinikainenSeptember 21, 2025Interesting and scary, though very artsy fartsy. Camera shakes too much and it's a bit distracting.
