- 匚卂尺ㄥMarch 5, 2025This is an absolute fabulous musical. I think it’s brilliant in it rendition of Roald Dahl Matilda the way they presented in song is really, really good.
- Jamie TalbotJune 24, 2025Actually thought it was a half decent musical although the songs did feel awfully similar they are very catchy. It’s not as rememberable as the original film adaptation but that’s ok with this being a musical. The acting felt natural for a musical too.
- DdoughnutMay 23, 2025I hate this version. Now, I will say all of these reasons are because the 1996 version was so good. But, I hate the random circus they go in, or maybe that was imaginative, I don't remember and I'm not going to look it up. The new teacher doesn't even have a shot against Ms. Honey. I hate the new actors for Matilda and Ms. Trunchbull, the parents are barely there, and it feels like they have to burst into song every second. I am biased since the 1996 version is better, but I watched this one before that one, so that is no excuse
