Amazing, great, I love this movie. The acting, the violence, the payoff, the massive sound design... I haven't seen the movie since 2012 and it's so much better than I remembered. It's very violent but if you can stomach it, watch it. I didn't remember how messed up it was, especially after the Epstein files have been partially released.

I first watched Martyrs 16 years ago, and it left a lasting, overwhelming impression. Despite seeing hundreds of gore and body horror films since then, revisiting it proved it still holds incredible power. It remains in my top three—French extreme cinema is unmatched.

It's a really raw, creepy, sickening movie and it reinvented the horror genre, some people find it disturbing, I really liked it.
