In post-war Germany, Dr. Danwitz and Dr. Hauser struggle with unpaid work as a model's pregnancy complicates their lives. When offered a lucrative but dangerous proposal for an illegal abortion, desperation leads to unforeseen consequences, testing their morals and friendships.
