- Mister Arn14 maj 2025The role of Dempsey Rae really fits Kirk Douglas as the wandering cowboy, a real man's man. Dempsey is cowboy personified and while he has no roots, he does what he thinks is right at any cost. It's this style of hero that I grew up idolizing and it no surprise that I like watching this movie. The movie has several flaws, but overall one I really like watching.
- Steve Garden29 april 2025This broad, corny hokum is a good example of "muggin' it for the back row", led from the front by an unrepentant Kirk Douglas digging deep into his inner chauvinist and baring his considerable set of choppers. Though they weren't intended, this comic cowboy caper will reward your attention with lots of the wrong sort of laughs.
