Although recent widow Amanda is determined to marry off her two daughters Amadora and Luisa Rosa, their boyfriends keep proposing to her. With help of old-flame Felix, Amanda tries to find husbands for her daughters. Meanwhile she is unwittingly falling in love again with Felix, despite the shadow of her beloved dead husband.
