Major Stig Møller returns home with his platoon from a harsh UN mission in Bosnia. During the graduation party at the barracks, a female sergeant is mortally wounded. Stig Møller ends up in a race against time, his wife's patience and the military's crisis staff in the hunt for the suspected assailant, who has fled in panic with a weapon in his hand.
