Lukomore
Directed by Alexander BabaevMasha Aksyonova is a quiet, straight-A student passionate about literature. Ivan Krasilov is her polar opposite: a charismatic jokester and a master of getting into trouble. But everything changes when, during a school field trip, the two of them fall through a portal and find themselves... in the very real Lukomore. The schoolchildren are greeted by a world of fairy tales, but it is no longer as Pushkin described it. The golden chain has been removed. The Cat no longer tells stories-he's suffering from a creative crisis, and Koschey is ready to turn anyone who stands in his way to stone. To return home, Masha and Ivan must overcome magical trials and unravel the mystery of the missing lines of "Lukomore." Walking "along unknown paths," they meet the witty, learned Cat, the feisty Baba Yaga, the formidable Leshiy, and the flirtatious Rusalka.
