Philipp (Urs Jucker) wants to make his sick father Walter (Peter Freiburghaus) happy one last time. To lure him out of his hospital bed, he resorts to a white lie: Philipp claims that his father has finally won the lottery - millions, Walter's old dream. After this happy news, Walter actually recovers and wants to enjoy his good fortune once again. He wants to pay off his debts and give his children and friends everything he was never able to give. Philipp, together with his sister (Liliane Amuat) and Walter's friends, must now pretend to have won the fictitious millions and do everything they can to prevent the fraud from being discovered.
