Lost Horizon Ratings & Reviews
- eif999March 3, 2025Some films you remember when you first watched them. I remember working for AFRTS in Spain when the first Gulf war broke out and we were airing this the day the war started for the US. Braking the myth of America as a power bent on peace. Watching it again brought back all the feelings. The chaplain priest I knew who quit the Navy because of the relentless bombing of cities as psychological warfare were needlessly affecting civilians. Our armies moving so fast the bombings hitting our own troops. The movie itself is electric and beautiful. Sony put in some of the missing elements with stills over original recovered dialog. Maybe my favorite Capra film.
