- cultfilmliker20h agoJust finished the “Casket” episode of Jackass earlier yesterday so I really wanted that music playing the whole time I was watching the hearse drive Some of the exposition / setting reminds me of Antichrist! Nobody gonna acknowledge how Emily looks just like the woman in the portrait? The visual of the “white” in the cove reminded me of a still of Bughuul in Sinister A slow burn for sure but maintains the atmospheric, surreal terror underlying it for the entire runtime! An absolutely gorgeous 70’s mystery-horror! All the colors worked so well together and the film looks so good in 1080p. What cinematography! Would love 4K! Not at all what I expected from the title!
