Disgusted at the cops' inability to find the two men dressed as sailors who mugged him, Slip and his gang, using paperwork from five guys who backed out of enlistment at the last minute, join up under assumed names to search Navy ranks for the mugger with a heart tattoo on his chest, never stopping to consider that the two "sailors" might be just criminals in disguise.
