Despite his talent, recognition and good jobs pass the tenor saxophonist Laslo by. Until Nicole appears and sweet music fills the air. Her singing voice carries towards the stars , and Laslo swears that he will wring his soul to do the right thing for the two of them. But this isn't easy when Nicole gets all the praise in their professional companionship. Laslo is put through the wringer of jealousy in this lyrical variation on "A Star is Born".
