- Shamus2kAugust 3, 2025"Land of Bad" is aptly named. From outrageous technical flubs to the laughable operations center, it’s clear the production either lacked a military advisor or ignored one. I’m not even an Air Force vet, and I still found it insulting. The barrage of implausible scenarios pulled me out completely, and by the credits, the only thing worth applauding was my guests' patience for finishing it.

The mission is unclear, the main character isn't adequately prepared, and the whole point of the show is just mindless action. Why is the US military okay with dropping millions of dollars in ordnance on foreign soil, and why are the Philippines authorities okay with it too? Who are the bad guys? Why are there about 100 anonymous dudes at this compound with no care for their own safety? Where did they all come from? Who are the two factions? What do they want, and why did they fall out? How does the main character only have one number to call in an emergency, and it rings on a normal phone in a fucking breakroom? They were watching before Russell Crowe's character started his 18-hr shift, and they were still there after. The whole phone thing was such a stupid way to manufacture tension. How does Russell Crowe's character get anywhere in a minute and a half? US servicemen died on this mission, and a shitload of unnecessary damage was caused. This movie was dumb to the bone. One thing that mighta made it better for me is if they had the main character's health bar at the bottom of the screen, for more drama, you see. But... entertained me !
- Kevin WardJuly 1, 2025With a title like Land of Bad I was sure this was going to be like one of those straight to DVD throwaway action flicks that Bruce Willis used to do 5 times a year. So I was incredibly surprised when I found myself actually hanging on the edge of my seat while watching this. I love tension and films and this hits all the right beats for an action thriller. They could have toned down the cheeseball shit at the base where everyone is cartoonishly irresponsible and ignoring important phone calls to watch sports, Aside from that, this was and throughly entertaining watch.

Russell Crowe brille en opérateur de drones. L’action est rapide, intense, avec des explosions et poursuites, parfait pour les amateurs d'action directe.
