They want free to the country princess. The third brother is not considered reached and he is called Klods Hans. The two wise brothers get a horse each so that they can free. Klods Hans, on the other hand, must not get a horse, so he chooses his own goat. Along the way, Klods Hans finds several things that he thinks could be interesting to show the princess. The princess rejects the various suitors and the two eldest brothers do not like the princess' taste either.
