    Gave Killer Heat a shot because of JGL and wasn't disappointed. There are a lot of familiar beats, and I figured out most of the mystery pretty early on, but the story and performances still kept me invested and wondering whether or not I'd be proven right. It's not doing anything groundbreaking, but there's something to be said for a solid flick that does the job. This one does.
