It's a loose narrative just following Kenny on his innocent shenanigans, first love, trick or treating, life questions, school, bullies, etc. Feeling like a child again roaming the neighborhood with friends in the 70's. I was born too late for such a childhood, I'm lucky enough though I grew up in the rural countryside and had plenty of adventures. These movies might glamorize the childlike sense of wonder but they make me feelgood every time and reminisce of a period I never truly experienced.
