Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox
Directed by Jay OlivaWhere to Watch Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox
- stikyDecember 10, 2025I'm going to start this review with this: I am brand new to watching the DCAU. This is my first film going into it and I plan on watching all of them. I will be reviewing each one. With that being said... This movie was fantastic from start to end. I had always heard the Comic's were really good, so I had hoped the movie would be too, and oh boy was it! The animation is awesome, the voice work is top notch, the storyline is just brilliant! Seeing this alternate universe to the one we know was handled to perfection. Seeing all the heroes being villains in their own right and even Batman is unhinged! Seeing all the powerhouses going at it was very fun to watch. But their reasoning was relatable to their actual character, so it all fits in and meshes well. At the end of it? I wish there was more to this movie. It left me wanting more and more I shall consume! This movie feels like it earns its loyalty to the source material by giving us a full-reset of what we know and a top notch production we don't always get. If someone were to ask me today, what movie do i start with to get into DC Animated? I would say this movie right here. I give this movie a 4/5. To make this a 5/5? I would have liked to see some backstory on these alternate versions of the heroes that we see. A bit more depth, but would that require a 2-part movie series like Death of Superman? Perhaps, and maybe that might actually be good.
- ZokkiieMarch 20, 2026This one dives headfirst into the chaos you love in the comics. Familiar heroes feel unpredictable, and the twists actually land instead of just shocking for the sake of it. It’s intense, messy, and full of stakes that actually matter. The action is brutal and fast, and the world feels lived-in—even in its alternate, twisted version. Some moments could’ve used a little more breathing room, but the character turns, especially the Batmans and Wonder Woman, make it worth it. It’s rough around the edges, but that’s exactly what gives it the energy and tension that comic fans crave.
