- Mister ArnJune 10, 2025“Jet Pilot” pairs John Wayne with Janet Leigh as his love interest-turned-spy in what I suppose is a romantic comedy with Cold War undertones. As propaganda, it doesn’t do the Russians any favors, plenty of jabs about how much better life is in America. It’s worth a look if you’re a fan of Wayne or Leigh, but more of a Cold War relic than a cinematic achievement.
