Jessabelle Ratings & Reviews
- UniqueMovies Deb H2d agoA haunting, supernatural film that shows a bad dream that the girl is having been strapped to a bed. 🛏️ The dream is about a voodoo ritual, The murder of a baby named, Jessabelle.🍼 The biracial daughter of her mother and a man that she had an affair with. 😱 The biracial baby was murdered by her adopted father. He broke the baby's spine and drowned it in the water.🍼😱 Then he burned Moses the man that his wife was having an affair with. He burned him to death!! 💥 The girl in the wheelchair. Her name is Jessie. And her father that picked her up from the hospital is not her real biological father.😱 And neither is her mother that left her the VHS tapes to watch and listen to. ✨ Her mother and him adopted her, Jesse, to cover up the death of the biracial baby and pretending that Jesse was the baby that she had. 🕊️ So neither one of her parents are her real parents. 💥 They adopted her. But she does not know that yet in the beginning of the movie. 🤔 And here's a big plot twist!!! Those VHS tapes that Jesse in the wheelchair found, That tape was not meant for her. 😱 It was meant for the biracial baby! 🍼 her adoptive mother was pregnant with a biracial baby, not with Jesse. 😱 And here is some real truth!! Google explains that this baby that they killed is who's doing the haunting of the house. 🕊️🍼🕊️ In reality, newborn babies go straight to Heaven. God takes them. 🙏 Newborns are sin free so there's no way they're going to be haunting a house.✨ An evil entity is doing that, not the baby.✨ Even though the movie may be portraying that it's the baby, It's not the baby!! evil entities can pretend to be someone that they're not!! 👹 I'm explaining this film because too many people get confused by what's going on in the storyline. And it can be very confusing.🤔 So don't accuse me of spoiling the movie because I'm not.✨ I'm explaining the facts of what's going on in the movie due to the other fact that the plot twists are very confusing and some people just don't get it.💥😱💥 This film is very scary and creepy and it's got some really good jump scares and ominous supernatural spirits!! A really scary plot twist at the end 💥😱💥 Jessabelles Spirit jumps into Jessie At the climax of the movie. ✨👻✨ If you've ever seen the horror movie The skeleton key it's got the same kind of ending!!💥😱💥 The makeup artist did a fantastic job, the acting is outstanding and this movie is a must-see and worth the watch 💥👻💥😱💥
- CharlotteCOSMICJune 29, 2025Rather mediocre but with some decent enough twists and turn to keep the entertainment paced. Though, very dissatisfactory that there was no good ending, just a last ditch attempt to keep some unnecessary notion of mystery. In regards to such movie genres, the notion of a spirit roaming free from a dead body only to possess a living body is obviously impossible (theoretically) because a living body would still have it's own spirit. And if even to ponder about such magic, then of course a living body or dead body could easier reject any spirit that isn't its own. Hence why movies such as this movie are quite sloppy of its own plot and point. Potential spoiler, the name Jessabelle was what the wife actually considered of herself..
