The idea of something lurking beneath the surface, unseen but ever-present, becomes your constant companion. And that’s where John Williams’ haunting score kicks in, sealing the deal.

I was but a young boy living in the suburbs of New York City when a friend did not want to go to the local swimming hole with us down at the lake when asked why not he said "he was afraid Jaws would get him" Joey would NEVER live that down. Now that is true terror.

- soloistthreeSeptember 3, 2025A classic for good reason. I'm a 90s kid and now see that my favorite movie, "Tremors", was heavily influenced by this movie. Additionally, the performances, especially by Robert Shaw, were fantastic as was the score and visuals.
