- StairwaytothestarsAugust 25, 2025It is a very mysterious, creepy, and haunting movie with great acting that will keep you guessing until it all comes together at the end. You will be stuck on Jacob's Ladder for a while, but eventually you will come down, just to go up again. This is a psychological masterpiece!
- George BananzaSeptember 27, 2025Guy gets high on his own supply.
- Scott ThomasMay 11, 2025I remember seeing this movie when it first came out, and being bored to tears the first time I saw it. The thing is, this may be the first "slow burn" horror film I ever saw, and I wasn’t ready for it at the time. Now that my tastes are a little more defined, I can really appreciate the genius of this movie.
- Randy LoweFebruary 4, 2025recall seeing this in the theater in 1990 and being kind of amazed. had forgotten everything by the time I rewatched it 34 years later. and, or course, it's very much of its time. too many painfully cringey 90's tropes....but it still had a charm and held my interest. I really wanted to find out what the meaning of it all was and sticking it out was rewarding in a way. Though out-dated, a couple performances are pretty strong (Tim Robbins and Danny Aiello). also interesting to note that this narrative formula was incredibly novel at the time, and has been copied to death since.
- Khaos StrifeJanuary 14, 2025A movie that still disturbs me on many levels, even after seeing it for the first time over 20 years ago. Definitely worth the watch.
