A college professor is working on a long term experiment when a baseball comes through the window destroying all his glassware. The resultant fluid causes the baseball to be repelled by wood. It Happens Every Spring Ratings & Reviews
- Mister ArnMay 25, 2025The casting is terrible. The ballplayers are all old men who don't look like they could run the bases. The relationship between the professor and his young student is creepy.
- Charles LondonFebruary 21, 2025Before Fred MacMurray (The Absent Minded Professor) accidentally invents "Flubber" gas, Ray Milland (It Happens Every Spring) unintentionally creates a substance that repels wood. Hint: think what a little of that could do to a baseball when pitched to a batter. Yeah, the premise is kind of hokey and some eye rolling is inevitable but the plot will keep you watching and maybe induce a smile or two. Probably best enjoyed by kids and families. For the rest, it's more of a curiosity than a good movie.
