Hoping to send the proceeds from the illegal sale back to his comrades in Ireland, Harry must avoid brutal Coast Guard Lt. Commander Ashley, who is searching for him. Befriended by showgirl Goldie Fain and her companion Fitzmaurice, Harry also evades Maxie, the representative of the local crime syndicate that resents the Irishman's intrusion into their territory.
