Directed by Luciano ManuzziIn Naples, Angela Latella owns a well-established paint shop that she is forced to defend against extortion attempts by the Camorra. The refusal to pay the protection money without submitting to the diktats of the Camorra costs dear to the merchant. After a series of intimidation, threats and warnings, she must watch helplessly as the shop and warehouse fire. When she sees her work literally go up in smoke, Angela decides with great courage to report the extortionists and, after their arrest, start from scratch and go testify. Upon her arrival at the courthouse she is greeted by a cheering crowd.
