- AndreiJuly 28, 2025Man, I was 17 and in high school when Ice Age came out. I think I watched it with the gang at least 10 times and I watched it with my kid now and I still remember all the jokes and exact lines. It's a great funny cartoon but the graphics haven't aged well at all :)

- HakihikoJanuary 20, 2025A Cool Tale of Friendship and Fun "Ice Age" is a fun and heartfelt animated movie that combines humor, adventure, and emotion to deliver a family-friendly experience. Directed by Chris Wedge and Carlos Saldanha, the film takes us back to the prehistoric era, following a mismatched group of animals-Manny the mammoth, Sid the sloth, Diego the saber-toothed tiger, and the ever-chaotic Scrat-as they embark on a journey to return a human baby to its tribe. The movie shines with its simple yet touching story about unlikely friendships and the importance of working together despite differences. The characters are well-defined and likable, with Manny's stoic demeanor, Sid's goofy charm, and Diego's morally conflicted personality creating a dynamic trio. Scrat's hilarious antics with his acorn add a layer of comic relief that appeals to viewers of all ages. The animation, though not as polished as later productions, holds up surprisingly well for its time. The icy landscapes are beautifully rendered, and the character designs are memorable and expressive. The humor is a blend of slapstick and witty banter, ensuring both kids and adults find something to enjoy. However, the movie doesn't push many boundaries and feels relatively safe in its storytelling. The plot is straightforward and predictable, lacking the emotional depth or innovation seen in some other animated films. While it has heartwarming moments, it doesn't leave a lasting emotional impact. Overall, "Ice Age" is an enjoyable and lighthearted adventure that remains a nostalgic favorite for many. While it may not reach the heights of some animated classics, its charm and humor make it a solid view experience.
