House of the Long Shadows Ratings & Reviews
- runozSeptember 7, 2025Amazing talent! I wish to convey my deepest appreciation to the entire cast and crew
- Matthias_812August 14, 2025A loving tribute to the great era of gothic horror and a slightly creaky last hurrah for its legendary stars. Vincent Price, Christopher Lee, Peter Cushing, and John Carradine bringing decades of horror pedigree under one spooky mansion roof. Pete Walker dials things back here from his signature sleaze which was disappointing. House of the Long Shadows plays out more like an affectionate parody of the genre. There’s plenty of creaking doors, howling winds, thunderclaps, and candlelit corridors, but the tone is sly and self-aware. The plot meanders and the “mystery” is more about enjoying the performances than solving anything, but the atmosphere is spot on with a couple of killer sequences.
- StairwaytothestarsAugust 2, 2025Not even the horror icons can save this one and I never thought I'd watch a movie with Desi Arnaz Jr!
- DANNYZUKO78July 1, 2025I ONLY WATCHED IT BECAUSE DESI ARNAZ JR.
- ZokkiieJune 12, 2025Cool cast, weak movie. Even with horror legends like Price, Lee, and Cushing, this old-dark-house story falls flat. The plot is slow, the twist is silly, and the lead actor feels out of place. Fun for fans of the actors, but overall pretty forgettable.
