Eero Mäntyranta was once an Olympic champion and a national icon. Now, he's an old man who lives with his reindeers in the deep Finnish forests. His grandson Viktor, a heartbroken musician, looks for answers in his granddad's stories. This film is about being homesick, although you no longer know where your home is. About longing for something to be real. To finally find meaning and substance in a modern life that might feel meaningless.
