Hitman: Agent 47 Ratings & Reviews

Really quite watchable, much better than the first
  • RadkaCoreyMarch 15, 2026
It's a decent movie. There is some poor acting in it.
  • XAugust 19, 2025
Mediocre dialogue, terrible editing, lack luster action scenes with no logic whatsoever, this movie shines in its performances. The casting is amazing and the actors truly do their best to make it work. Ultimately not a bad watch if you go in not expecting much

Excellent! I just wished they had done a sequence

Style Over Substance "Hitman: Agent 47" delivers plenty of fast-paced action and slick visuals, staying at some degrees true to the cold, calculated nature of its iconic protagonist. The film features well-choreographed fight scenes, stylish cinematography, and some impressive stunt work, making it an entertaining watch for action lovers. However, beyond its polished exterior, the film struggles with weak storytelling and underdeveloped characters. The plot feels generic, relying too much on action sequences rather than building a compelling narrative. While Rupert Friend does a decent job embodying Agent 47's stoic nature, the script doesn't give him-or the supporting characters-enough depth to make the audience truly invested. And it's here where this movie moves towards a common action more than an hitman-movie. As a pure action flick, "Hitman: Agent 47" delivers some adrenaline-pumping moments, but as an adaptation of the beloved video game franchise, it lacks the depth and intrigue that made the source material engaging. It's watchable but ultimately forgettable.
