His Nemesis
Directed by Thomas H. InceA man deserts his wife and child and enlists. He is transported West, and during a battle with Indians saves his colonel's life. The latter's daughter admires her father's preserver, and eventually they become engaged. Meantime, the wife's brother has tracked the husband, and comes upon him while the wedding festivities are in progress. In a room the two men struggle, and the husband is killed by the accidental discharge of a revolver. The wife's brother pins a note on the dead man's breast, and escapes. When the colonel and his daughter burst into the room the dead man's infamy is revealed by the note.
