    "Heroes" takes Sally Field on yet another cross-country road trip, this time alongside a troubled veteran. The film attempts to inject excitement by including a fast car for part of their journey, making the specter of Smokey and the Bandit complete. Despite boasting the talents of three fine actors, the movie fails to reach its potential. While watchable, it’s not memorable or recommendable, leaving the audience with a sense of unfulfilled promise.
