- hcbowAugust 11, 2025Hercules has a beautiful and iconic soundtrack, the color scape is mostly cool tones and blues juxtaposed to scenes that are warm and yellow/orange, making this movie feel like the optimal bedtime choice. When I was a kid, falling asleep to this movie and waking up with the VHS blue screen was a common occurrence. Now that I'm an adult, when I'm having bad insomnia, putting this movie on helps me feel relaxed and tired within 20 minutes of the start of the film. If it's bedtime and I put this movie on, I'm almost guaranteed to fall asleep by the end. And when I'm awake to watch the whole thing, this movie has me singing along and laughing at the same jokes I've heard a thousand times. This is one of Disney's most original stories (even if it's based on ancient stories 😂), creatively designed characters, and best soundtracks of all of their Renaissance movies.

- andrewAugust 16, 2025my confusions on heros were abundant, but after watching this film i feel myself now enlightened to how busted they are. what shocked me most was not how strong hercules was, but how all the gods were just painted with random colors for some reason.
