Her Side-Show Sweetheart
Directed by Arthur HotalingJim is the bearded lady with a side show. Marie, the snake charmer, is in love with him, but Jim fears her ungovernable temper. She threatens a breach of promise suit and Jim runs away, resuming men's clothes. He gets a job with a farmer and falls in love with Mary, the farmer's daughter, who reciprocates his affections. Jim gets in touch with the manager, who ships his stage costumes. Marie is on his trail, and arrives in time to use Jim's costumes and professional photographs as arguments against him. Mary is broken-hearted at the thought that her sweetheart is a woman, too, but Jim advances the argument that Marie would not want to marry him were he a woman and the argument wins. Cy, Jim's rival for the affection of Mary, shines up to Marie and the picture closes with the hint of a double wedding.
