Two girls, sisters Nicol and Valerie Weber, bathe in the lake. Elder Valerie then sends her sister home to her father and stays alone with her friends. Nicol rides home on a bicycle, falls and abrasively rubs his knee. A man driving a car treats her wound and offers to take her home. But the girl refuses and goes on alone. Her father is waiting for her at home, as usual with a camera. He dresses her in a holiday dress and leaves it to the man with the mask. He starts touching the girl while the father is filming. However, Nicol defends himself and hits his head during a fight. She's dead on the spot. Valerie goes home at night and arrives just as her father and an unknown man are getting rid of the corpse. He hides under the bed, so he can only see the man's legs. All he notices is the man's special key ring. The next day, the corpse Nicol is found in the water. Commissioner Kathrin Veit and former head of the homicide unit and her ex-boyfriend Armin Streiben are investigating.
