Hardcore Henry
Directed by Ilya NaishullerHenry, a newly resurrected cyborg who must save his wife/creator from the clutches of a psychotic tyrant with telekinetic powers, AKAN, and his army of mercenaries. If you can deal with the POV/Found Footage normal the story is a classic 90s/00s Comic/Video Game when they were peak ridiculous. As for the stunts... the stunts... one after another brilliant stuff. Sort of film where everyone involved can be proud of the output. It was never going to be a 10/10 film and it knows it - so aims for a solid 7/8 out of ten and completely nails it.
