Half a Bride
Directed by Gregory La CavaRambunctious Patience Winslow listens to a radio show about "companionae marriage" and decides to try it out, so she enters into a trial marriage. Her father, however, breaks up the marriage before it can be consummated by kidnapping her and keeping her aboard his yacht. She escapes overboard, but Edmunds, the yacht's captain, jumps in after her. Just at that time a fierce storm whips up, and the two are cast ashore on a deserted island. Complications ensue.
