Every Guardian was enjoyable in their own weird way, the soundtrack was amazing, and somehow this random group of criminals became one of my favourite teams in the MCU. I already knew by the end that this wasn’t going to be my last time watching it. Absolutely loved it. 10/10⭐️

From the very first scene, it establishes a tone that is bold, colorful, and unapologetically different, and that confidence is exactly what makes it so memorable. Even today, it remains one of the best entries in the MCU. What makes it stand out is its personality. The humor feels fresh and spontaneous, never overwhelming the emotional core of the story. James Gunn managed to blend irreverent comedy with genuine heart, creating a group of misfits that are impossible not to root for. The chemistry between the cast is electric, and that dynamic is what truly carries the film. Visually, it's vibrant and imaginative, fully embracing its cosmic setting. But beyond the spectacle, it's the soundtrack that elevates everything. The music isn't just background, it becomes part of the identity of the movie, giving it a unique rhythm and emotional punch. Funny, stylish, emotional, and endlessly rewatchable. This is a film that knows exactly what it wants to be and executes it with confidence.
- ZokkiieMay 22, 2026This one still surprises me with how well it works. It’s loud, weird, funny, and somehow still manages to feel like a proper emotional team movie by the end. The soundtrack alone does a ton of the heavy lifting, and it honestly fits every moment perfectly. Chris Pratt is a great pick for Star-Lord, but Rocket and Groot completely steal the show every time they’re on screen. The banter between the group starts off chaotic but ends up actually feeling earned, which is kind of impressive for a movie this silly on paper. The villain side of things is pretty whatever, nothing you’ll remember long after, but the rest of it is so strong it doesn’t really drag it down.
