- HumptyMay 14, 2025I remember my dad telling me about this guy when I was younger, I played all the Gran Turismo games and have been a fan since the PS1. All I gotta say is you don't gotta be a fan to enjoy this movie, anyone can get into it and like it.

- quikMarch 29, 2025Some dialogue in this is very much "how do you do fellow kids" - but if you get over that minor inconvenience, there's a pretty inspiring and well portrayed story here. The fact that it's based on a true story amplifies the payoffs of struggles by a lot. Racing scenes are done really well, they convey the immensely intense atmosphere in those moments amazingly in my opinion. Worth a watch!

From surprisingly dull cinematography from Neil Blomkamp, poor writing with an even weaker protagonist, to an uninteresting plot, it is highly questionable that those involved in the production wanted to tell this story and do so in the this manner. What is unsurprising, however, is this being a poorly shrouded advertisement for Nissan, Sony, and Gran Turismo. Despite being based on a true story, this movie offers nothing besides telling an out-of-order story of a gamer turned driver that actually turns out to be more more underwhelming than the actual events it is based off of.
