- jackmeat22. december 2024My quick rating - 5,8/10. World War II. A group of American soldiers encounter a supernatural enemy as they occupy a French castle previously under Nazi control. Not often do I miss something coming in a flick. This one got me. A good little ghost story set during WWII which is a fairly unique setting first off. The unknown cast does a decent job with their characters and actually had me interested in what was going on. To go into any further of this one would be criminal to the movie and deserves to be watched for the smack in the head, and wrap up. If the ghost story could have been done a bit better this would've really hit higher. As a low-budget horror flick though, it does very well. The shots look beautiful, and the camerawork is good, I really wish they added a bit more time into what they had planned. The IMDB reviews just don't see the actual twist for what it was and instead use it as a cop-out. I personally saw it the other way around.

En gruppe krigstrætte soldater får en usædvanlig og mistænkelig behagelig opgave: De skal bevogte et stort, tomt palæ langt væk fra slagmarken. Hvad der gør opgaven endnu mere mistænkelig er, at det forrige hold soldater, som gruppen nu skal afløse, nærmest ikke kan komme ud af døren hurtigt nok! Allerede første nat bliver det tydeligt, at der er noget helt galt her. Soldaterne ser mystiske ting. De hører mystiske ting. Og de bliver overbevist om, at der er noget modbydeligt og meget mørkt i dette hus. Ordren fra toppen var dog ikke til at tage fejl af: Hvad I end gør, må I IKKE forlade jeres post!
