Get Carter Ratings & Reviews
- ben stevensonOctober 25, 2025Old but gold
- Mister ArnMay 15, 2025"Get Carter" was co-produced by Michael Caine, allowing him to take on the role of an anti-hero devoid of any likable qualities—and he excels in this portrayal. In fact, none of the characters in the film are particularly likable or good. The film's realistic depiction of violence is further intensified by its dark, atmospheric setting, drawing the audience into the film's world and enhancing its overall impact.
- Ray HopkinOctober 12, 2024This is an absolute classic. I first saw this a long time ago on Moviedrome, and watching it again, it never fails to pull me in, and it never lets go. Michael Caine is an absolute evil bastard in this, and he's surrounded by a menagerie of low life scum. It's an unrelenting film, that wears it's humour jet black. And such a downbeat, bleak ending. What a great movie, an absolute classic.
