In April 1945, as the Allies make their final push in the European Theater, a battle-hardened Army sergeant named Wardaddy commands a five-man Sherman tank crew on a deadly mission behind enemy lines. Outnumbered, out-gunned, and with a rookie soldier thrust into their platoon, Wardaddy and his men face overwhelming odds in their heroic attempts to defend a field hospital from Waffen SS troops.

An incredibly entertaining WW2 movie I keep coming back to year after year. Is it perfect? No way. Historically accurate? Not even close. Beautifully shot, wonderfully acted, and brutally honest? You bet. Worth the time. You'll leave wanting a new haircut - guaranteed.

Much like many war movies, the balistics are very jank, but I still enjoyed the movie.

I know I’ve never written a review before but THIS movie was that good. Just finished watching it, and I’m blown away- as a female who doesn’t watch war movies I saw this randomly and I saw familiar faces (Brad Pitt) so I gave it a try. Had me literally on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. It does a fantastic job at showing the gritty, gory, heart wrenching aspects of war- and I thought it had just enough character development and background. I personally like my movies to capture my attention throughout, and I don’t like “flashbacks” or too many backstories that really don’t need to be in the scenes. It gets too distracting jumping from past to present, where this movie was based on the past- and highlighted the characters just enough to make you feel like you know them, made you feel as if you were there with them. This movie had everything. Drama, suspense, emotional pulls, intensity and surprise- god it was so mf good. And it’s 2022 and I thought this movie was new, I’m shocked to see it came out in 2014. Video quality, and cinematography is amazing.

Damn good movie! Every now and then I come back to it which is rare for me, most movies are watch ones and forget type of deal these days. The acting is 10/10, great story! The battle at the end is definitely not the most realistic lol, but enjoyable nonetheless.

Steven Spielberg is an amazing director, fury by David Ayer shows the brutality, humanity, compassion, Gore, and almost unflinching reality of war in a way that Steven Spielberg would never dare do I’m not a fan of saving Private Ryan or Steven Spielberg’s idealistic view of America in films The way he compromises his stories by always putting tacky endings and overly heartwarming plot points in there for audiences that should know better at this point This is a film by a man that lives in a universe where the good guys don’t win And the bad guys can. It’s unflinching in a way that only I can compare it to band of Brothers And the actors all perform to the best of their abilities… But beyond that they are living the roles. Shia LaBeouf has never been greater… Jon Bernthal unbelievably merciless and tender, Michael Penna is rock solid in a way I’ve never seen before… And Brad gives every goddamn bet he came to this movie he believes in it just as the soldiers believe in fury their home, the tank that will take them in and out of battles in World War II fighting the Nazis war is hell this is a film that attempts to show you that in a visceral way Bravo, fucking bravo

A brutal look at tank warfare and the effects on its crew. This story isn't trying to tell you the crew of the Fury were heroes, they were men doing a job in extremely difficult circumstances, This is more about all tank crews that have ever been in warfare and the difficulties they face. Cast is stellar as is the direction, which given is is produced by the same person who made U-571

This is without a doubt my favorite war movie. Great actors, amazing performances, and really shows how war changes men without holding back.

The film's strength lies not only in its brutal and realistic war scenes, but also in its portrayal of the profound devastation war inflicts on humanity. The characters aren't superheroes; each one has their own fears, struggles, and flaws, which makes the film both deeply human and heartbreaking. The direction is realistic and stark, the cinematography immerses you in the heart of the battle, and the music is minimal yet powerful. While the story itself may not be groundbreaking, the way it's presented and the actors' performances create a profoundly moving and impactful experience.

Would love to love this movie, but it simply isn't very good. Most of it's moments are forced and unnatural and the whole ensamble is dragged way down by a very lazy performance from Michael Pena.

You could probably pick this movie apart for its inaccuracies, but honestly, it’s incredibly entertaining. It’s one of those films you can watch multiple times and still notice new details each time. The tank scenes in particular are absolutely brilliant. Highly recommended!

Testament to war being haunting and dehumanziing. Perfect cast delivers a variety of characters. Great story. Could be a miniseries.
