Frozen Ratings & Reviews
- flavo43December 6, 2025When Frozen premiered in 2013, it quickly became a cultural phenomenon, redefining what audiences expected from a Disney princess film. With its fast-paced and memorable musical score—anchored by the iconic “Let It Go”—the movie captivated viewers of all ages. Beyond the music, Frozen delivered an incredible story that challenged traditional fairy-tale tropes. Instead of relying on a prince to save the day, the film flipped gender stereotypes, showing that true heroism and love can come from family bonds, particularly the relationship between sisters Elsa and Anna. The animation was breathtaking, bringing the icy landscapes of Arendelle to life with dazzling detail. Characters were both endearing and complex, balancing humor, vulnerability, and strength. By redefining what “true love” means, Frozen offered a fresh, empowering message while still delivering the magic and heart audiences expect from Disney.
- Cineit.blogOctober 15, 2025Look, after watching this again in 2025, I still find the original Frozen boring. It's too much blue and white, and the story isn't anything revolutionary, just the classic Disney formula. Yes, the animation is gorgeous, but that's a given. The music made me sleepy, except for Olaf’s one fun song. If you’re a parent, it serves its purpose for the kids, but if you're looking for a challenging or exciting movie, you won't find it here.
- stuhannafordApril 29, 2025As an adult, with a fondness for the magic of Disney from yesteryear, it is difficult to see this as anything other than a glitzy, child friendly, sing-a-long, knock off. The seemingly endless vocals clearly appeal to a younger audience…but with little humour to carry it, I wished to let it go early on.
