The director plunges the viewer into the stream of consciousness of his protagonist, a wife and mother, who is slowly shattered by her flickering psyche and the coldness of her immediate surroundings. The title of the film refers to the school portfolio of religious education one of her sons attends. The teacher preaches mercy and chastises the students at the same time. The work equipment thus becomes a grotesque symbol of a senseless order. Follow me is a film that only leaves the disabled. And behind the house a bridge rises like an iron rainbow to mockery.
