Where to Watch Flesh+Blood
- Ray HopkinFebruary 18, 2026This is brutal, unrelenting and nasty. It's a fantastic watch, where literally no one has any redeeming qualities. Even at the ending, whoever is still standing, you're thinking that they'll be dead within a month from the plague, handily used for germ warfare! Even the moments of romance are played dark, such as the embrace of the lovers under the rotting corpses of two people hanging from a tree. It never lets up, and once you realise that the characters you were rooting for are absolute a-holes, you realise that you just need to sit back and appreciate the movie, with some great cinematography, acting, sets and lots of nudity. A very underappreciated gem from Verhoeven.
