Where to Watch Fire and Ice
- ZokkiieFebruary 18, 2026Kicks off feeling like you just dropped into someone’s airbrushed fantasy poster from the ’80s. The movie leans hard on mood and visuals, with that rough, rotoscoped look you get in Wizards and the old animated The Lord of the Rings — lots of dramatic poses, smoky backdrops, and barely a pause to breathe. The plot’s basically a straight line, and the characters are more vibes than people, but if you’re into retro fantasy art and old-school animation, it’s easy to get pulled along. Just don’t go in expecting something that clicks with everyone.
- EllwynXJuly 13, 2025I remembered my dad renting this for me when I was a kid and I didn't really care all that much for it. I decided to watch it again, 40 years later-ish, to see what I thought it out now since I barely remembered it. I still can't say I'm a fan, but I didn't hate it. The animation style was cool to me, though I see other reviews on here that didn't like it. It's not something seen anymore with everything CGI. The story was what I couldn't get that interested in. I prefer more sorcery in my Sword & Sorcery stories. And less barbarian beat em up.
