- ርልዪረFebruary 12, 2025Fight Club, a film with excellent acting, script and plot-line, with the talents of both lead and support actors. The opening scenes do more than just set the scene; they plunge the audience straight into the dark and twisted world the writers and film-makers have created. What is happening? What has happened? The narrator proceeds to tell us. At first things seem simple enough, if an underground Fight Club rapidly evolving can be called simple. But, like all good plots, this one has a few twists to its name, and surprises they are. Fight Club presents numerous ideas and concepts that really do begin to make sense as the film progresses. The audience is lured into a sense of thinking where suddenly the material comforts of the world take on new (and irrelevant) meanings. With fights, guns, home-made dynamite and a storyline just as explosive, Fight Club should be held in high regard by all critics of modern cinema. And as if the film itself wasn't enough, here we have a 2-disc Special Edition, offering yet another aspect to this multi-dimensional tale. Audio commentary, deleted and alternate scenes, and behind the scenes are just some of the features in this brilliant set. I loved it for all the reasons given here, and more: it's hard to describe exactly the impact of this film, so if you really want to find out about Fight Club, I highly recommend you purchase this title.
- DTSaitoOctober 27, 2025Fight Club is not a comfortable film, and it was never meant to be. It is a savage, brilliant, and wildly entertaining piece of American satire. It is the ultimate showcase for David Fincher's unparalleled talent for marrying style with substance, creating a work that is as technically flawless as it is thematically explosive. A true, enduring classic. Based on the semi unfilmable novel by Chuck Palahniuk, he has said he prefers the film version of ''Fight Club'' to his novel.
- darthtoonOctober 20, 2025Brilliantly Done
- NiztradamusOctober 15, 2025A masterwork that doesn't get old. If you are on a repeated watch I'd argue it's even more fun because you look at everything differently. Now that I am older I can also really appreciate the narrative. The feeling of being stuck in life, searching for thrills. Long story short, if you like thrillers and men punching the snott out of each other this is a masterpiece.
- JozzMarch 28, 2025All you need is IKEA
- tellumAugust 17, 2025CRAZY MOVIE
- mickerdooJuly 1, 2025A complete head fuck. Norton and Pitt are perfect. Great for multiple watches as you pick up small details. Plus a narrative on existence.
