- James SaenzApril 12, 2026“i am not going to sit on my ass as the events that affect me unfold to determine the course of my life. i'm going to take a stand. i'm going to defend it. right or wrong, i'm going to defend it.” cameron frye you are the whole world. one of the most underrated jokes in the film is the sheer number of students whose surnames begin with “ander-“ during roll call. the museum sequence with an instrumental cover of the smiths is one of my favorite moments in film. getting to watch this in a crowded theater and laugh along with everyone was a blessing. when john hughes manages to hit that ball he hits it out of the park.
- pipanniDecember 27, 2025This movie is a classic, with endless references in more movies and tv shows that I can remember, and Mia Sara at the peak of her gorgeousness. It is although a lot slower than I recall and some scenes have not aged well. If you've never seen it do so, but if you're rewatching it be prepared for a less stellar trip down memory lane.
- RichardSeptember 4, 2025Let’s be real: Ferris Bueller’s Day Off isn’t just a movie. It’s a sacred text for anyone who’s ever stared out a classroom window and thought I want to be Ferris. I wanted to talk my way out of trouble, charm every adult and somehow make existential wisdom sound cool. Watching this in high school made me feel like rebellion was an art form. Ferris didn’t just break the rules, he rewrote them with a glitter pen and mailed them to the dean with a wink.
