- Gerald InmanJune 7, 2025This is a period type film dating just after WWII in the Australian bush. Plot is very simple, and as expected, there is a predator fish involved to add as a thriller element to the movie. There are a number of suspense scenes in the film to keep the audience's attention. Some wonderful acting by Hermione Corfield and Jake Ryan, who both created a few tense scenes, add a little drama to the film. The movie is worth a watch for those who enjoy a good overseas suspense thriller with a dose of heavy Australian flare.
- Josh CMay 10, 2026This is not what I expected at all. I didn't know it was a period movie set in the 1940's. It just lacked excitement and thrills. It almost had a bit of a soap opera feel to it when it came to the acting and production. I kept waiting for it to kick into gear and it just never quite got there. Bland.
- Dorian SandreAugust 8, 2025The actors are actually quite good, the story is at least not too conventional but there's not much fear nor tension which is a bit of a problem for a 'shark movie'. To top it off, there's not much gore either, it feels like they wanted it to be PG 13...?I can't recommend, even if you're extremely bored. There are certainly better things to do with your time.
