- M08YSeptember 16, 2025Fant4stic did not try and fail. It just failed. I think there could have been half a good idea in here somewhere if you really leaned into the science accident/on the run aspect of things, leaning on the horror aspects of science gone wrong might have produced something of value. As it is, that's not what we got. What we did get was an uninspired rehash of the exact same story we already had. The decent cast did their best with a pretty poor script, but it was nobodys finest hour. It also ended in my least favourite way possible... big alien sky portal. In conclusion, It's far from the worst super hero film I've ever seen but I don't really have any thing good to say about it. Overally the film looked and sounded fine I guess. There is one scene where Miles Teller plastic-man powers his face and it looks straight out of a PS3 game.
